to stop crime and corruption people will have to come forward . the main reason of not getting information is harrasment of the helper .he is interrogated so much that he stops helping in future if u inform some clue you will be taken for suspicion giving the reason why u are taking interest i fail to understand why the police neglect the senior competant area people to detect criminals the locals will have to be taken in confidence &to b kept confidential strictly to encourage other people.
